The NCDA Fiscal Agent Service helps dance artists and groups accumulate the funds they need to make their artistic and career goals a reality. Our Non-Profit Sponsorship provides independent artists and groups with: eligibility to apply for most government, foundation, and corporate grants which require 501(c)(3), not-for-profit status; eligibility to receive tax-deductible donations of both money and goods from individuals; other services where 501(c)(3) status is necessary, such as reduced rental rates. Recent recipients of sponsorship include Gay Cheney, Eluza Santos, Amy Chavasse, Choreo Collective and Five Chick Posse Productions. This service allows emerging artists to operate with all the benefits of a not-for-profit agency as they develop and accumulate the necessary requirements for their own 501(c)(3) status as well as giving short term projects the ability to acquire not-for-profit advantages.
